How can we improve the future skyscrapers?

The problem
Huge water pollution makes the holy river unhealthy for daily and holy use.

Local people of varani are spending their day near the river, for multiple functions.
religios travelers are coming a few times a year to pray in the holy river and to participate in ceremonies.

The Ghats
series of traditional steps leading down to the Ganga. each Ghat represents the specific functionality of the locals.
Concept
We designed 4 Building blocks inspired by the traditional ghat functions.
inspired by traditional temples design, the interior spaces is in big scale and local materials.
Water pools/ponds for daily and holy use.
The building is a continuos of the city ghats, making it part of the urban activities.

The ganga river has tide difference changing by the hours. the building knows how to adapt to their needs.
Section
"Holy" open space, inspired by the Hindu temples.
Floors have no walls, making the users feel the holy river everywhere.
Underwater system cleaning the ganga river water with algae. the clean water comes out of the top in a form of waterfalls.
Interior
Clean water is falling from the upper floors. fiiling lower pools- for holy & everyday use.
